Bennet is an 8 year old Weimaraner.

One day after a walk he started squinting his right eye and there was “goopy” material collecting in it. A special stain performed during Bennet’s eye exam showed superficial abrasion of the cornea (the surface of the eye) which was very uncomfortable.

The exam also revealed a likely foreign body trapped under Bennet’s third eyelid. As the eye was very uncomfortable Bennet was sedated to examine the underside of the third eyelid. A grass seed was embedded under the third eyelid. After it was removed and a protective eye gel was applied to the eye, Bennet was much more comfortable. His eye healed and he can now enjoy his walks again.
